Women Startup Competition 2023

Women Startup Competition is an annual startup competition in Europe. It was founded to give female entrepreneurs and their team members opportunities to meet investors and receive support and advice to reach their business goals. The competition aims to increase the currently meager ratio of women in business.

Women Startup Competition was born in 2012 in Budapest, Hungary. Since then, the movement has constantly been blooming and growing, attracting creative female entrepreneurs, who we accelerate to speed up on the superhighway of business. The community and the network have kept rising from the beginning, and we are constantly expanding geographically. WSC is present in 12 European countries, offering training series and competitions.

The Women Startup Competition aims to grow the presence of women in business and to do this, we provide training and opportunities for more and more gender-diverse startups to realize their dreams and encourage them to do what they love to do.

Our series of competitions increases the number of innovative enterprises where most founders are women. We want to improve the knowledge of female entrepreneurs and encourage and help them. We would also like to connect them with leading corporate innovation centers, venture capitalists, angel investors, and other possible traction-generation partners.
