Founded in 2025, Darvin is building a tool designed specifically for mobile developers — offering not only no-code building capabilities but also full app store deployment and promotion features. Unlike current leaders like loveable or Bolt, which focus mostly on websites and SaaS, Darvin’s mission is to streamline the entire mobile app publishing process with AI assistance. The startup is led by Sebastian Szczygieł, co-founder of Polish mobile gaming unicorn Huuuge Games. The investment will allow Darvin to accelerate product development and prepare for market launch.
Why this matters:
Darvin stands at the intersection of no-code tools, AI innovation, and mobile app growth — three sectors booming in global tech. SMOK Ventures’ strategy is clear: invest in developer tools, AI, and gamedev. Darvin is a powerful combination of all three, created by an experienced team with a proven record of success.
For Central and Eastern Europe, this signals growing ambition not just to adopt innovation but to lead in emerging tech sectors like AI-driven mobile app development.
