The Mental Path network operates in Warsaw, Kraków, Katowice, Sopot, and Rzeszów, offering highly specialized services including adult and adolescent psychotherapy, psychiatric consultations, sexology, psychosomatic treatment, and advanced psychological diagnostics. The acquisition complements LUX MED’s existing network of “Harmonia” Mental Health Clinics, which operate in Warsaw, Kraków, and Wrocław, as well as online.
“As societal challenges grow, so does the need for accessible, high-quality mental health services,” said Anna Rulkiewicz, President of LUX MED Group. “The expansion of this segment is a strategic priority for us, and we are pleased to welcome Mental Path Group into our organization. We believe this cooperation will bring mutual benefits and elevate mental health standards in Poland.”
Founded by a team of over 200 experienced psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists, Mental Path has built a strong reputation for its integrated, human-centered approach to therapy and psychological support. The centers operate as expert hubs for mental health, addressing areas such as ADHD, gender identity, psychosomatic disorders, and complex sexual health issues.
Clinic Highlights by City
Warsaw – Mokotów & Saska Kępa: Adult and adolescent psychotherapy, psychiatric consultations, and psychological diagnostics.
Kraków – Bonarka & Aleja Pokoju: Comprehensive mental health services, including therapy for sexual disorders and psychosomatic conditions.
Katowice – 3 Maja Street: Non-public Psychological and Pedagogical Counseling Center registered with the Ministry of Education, focusing on child and adolescent mental health.
Sopot – Jana Sobieskiego Street: Center for sexology, psychotherapy, and psychosomatics, offering advanced therapy for behavioral disorders and depression.
Rzeszów – Boya-Żeleńskiego Street: Clinic for children, youth, and adults specializing in psychotherapy and psychosomatic treatment.
The newly integrated clinics will join forces with Harmonia’s existing locations and benefit from shared resources, multidisciplinary collaboration, and synergistic growth across services. The combined network positions LUX MED as a national leader in private mental healthcare, capable of offering both stationary and remote consultations tailored to a wide range of patient needs.
Strategic Context
This acquisition is part of a broader trend in European healthcare, where mental health is becoming a strategic priority for both public and private providers. Post-pandemic demand for psychological services has surged, prompting healthcare companies to expand capacities, develop telehealth infrastructure, and integrate mental health more deeply into primary care systems.
For LUX MED, which is backed by Bupa Group, the move aligns with long-term goals to reshape Poland’s healthcare market through vertical integration and service diversification. It also responds to growing corporate demand for employee mental health services, as many of Mental Path’s clinics also serve business clients and private insurers.
With this acquisition, LUX MED is not only addressing a market need but also shaping the future of mental health delivery in Poland—offering accessible, expert-driven care across demographic groups and geographical regions.
