Polish-based startup Pleso Therapy secures $1.2M to grow its AI mental health support platform, with Poland as its European launchpad
Pleso Therapy, a mental health startup founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs and based in Poland, has raised $1.2 million to scale its AI-driven platform across Europe. With a strong focus on the Polish market, the company plans to expand its local team, refine its technology, and grow brand awareness.
Pleso Therapy offers a hybrid mental health service that connects users with certified therapists through an AI-powered matching engine. A standout feature is the use of trained Therapy Guides who help users select the right specialist—removing the stress and guesswork that often deters people from starting therapy. The platform’s proprietary algorithm ensures better alignment between patient needs and therapeutic expertise, streamlining access to psychological support.

Klarna appoints ElevenLabs co-founder and AI expert Mati Staniszewski to its board of directors
Klarna, the global payments and commerce platform powered by artificial intelligence, has announced the appointment of Mati Staniszewski to the board of directors of Klarna Group PLC. This move reinforces Klarna’s ongoing commitment to AI-driven transformation and technological leadership in financial services.
Staniszewski is best known as the co-founder and CEO of ElevenLabs, a leading voice AI company developing tools for enterprises, developers, and creators to generate high-quality audio content and interactive voice agents in over 30 languages. Under his leadership, ElevenLabs has scaled rapidly, empowering millions of individuals and businesses with voice-generation tools that are redefining content creation.
Before founding ElevenLabs, Staniszewski served as a Deployment Strategist at Palantir, where he oversaw complex rollouts of enterprise software across the public and private sectors, giving him deep insights into deploying cutting-edge technologies at scale.
In commenting on his new role, Staniszewski said:
