Muzaic Will Bring AI-Generated Music to the Masses

💎 Lublin-Based Muzaic Secures Funding to Scale Personalized AI Music Creation for Users and Creators Alike

Muzaic, a startup from Lublin, Poland, has closed a new seed funding round with the backing of 24Ventures and Digital Ocean Ventures, joining existing investor Shape VC. The funding marks a strategic milestone in Muzaic’s development of a platform that lets users co-create original music powered by AI—tuned to individual moods, activities, and emotional states.

Led by Wojciech Hazanowicz, Muzaic has gained attention for turning smartphones into portable music studios. Through its app and flagship tool, Muzaic.studio, users can generate fully legal, royalty-free soundtracks for personal or professional use. Music is created from scratch by AI trained solely on original compositions, allowing creators to skip expensive licensing while achieving highly personalized results.

The platform integrates with wearables such as smartwatches and fitness bands to tailor sound to user activity and emotional context. Whether relaxing at home or editing a video on the go, users are guided through a seamless process that replaces hours of searching for stock music with seconds of custom generation.

In 2024, Muzaic users reportedly generated 10x more tracks than all Polish music artists combined to date—with some days hitting 65,000 original compositions. This astonishing scale highlights both the appetite for accessible creative tools and Muzaic’s potential as a global force in Creative AI. “We’re not trying to replace artists,” Hazanowicz notes. “We’re enabling expression, not competing with emotion.”

Beyond Users: Building a Scalable Product

Muzaic’s seed round will enable the company to expand its 14-person team, develop product features, and scale integrations with platforms like Canva, Adobe Express, and Final Cut Pro. It already boasts over 250,000 monthly active users and is targeting broader adoption in the growing creator economy.

Digital Ocean Ventures praised the startup’s clean legal infrastructure and AI ethics. “Unlike other AI music tools, Muzaic trains its models exclusively on owned content,” they noted. “This eliminates copyright risk and delivers real value to both amateurs and pros.”

Recognition and Global Reach

Muzaic was also crowned winner of Poland’s 2023 Creative Business Cup, earning the opportunity to represent the country at the global final in Copenhagen. The startup benefited from mentoring by Fundacja OIC Poland and is now gaining international visibility as a standout example of ethical, scalable AI from Central Europe.

As the global market for royalty-free and AI-assisted creative tools expands, Muzaic’s hybrid approach—balancing artistic sensitivity with powerful algorithms—offers a blueprint for innovation without exploitation. By fusing legal sound creation, wearables data, and personalized experience, it stands out in the AI-generated content landscape.
