ReSpo.Vision Secures EUR 4.1 Million
Polish Deeptech Startup ReSpo.Vision Raises EUR 4.1 Million from Vinci, Smartlink, and Top Private Investors to Revolutionize Sports Analytics with Single-Camera 3D Tracking
Polish startup ReSpo.Vision, specializing in 3D motion tracking using single-camera input, has secured EUR 4.1 million (PLN 18 million) in a fresh round of funding led by Vinci S.A., Smartlink Partners, and a network of seasoned private investors. The company’s AI-driven technology is already redefining the standards of motion analytics in global football — and soon, it could disrupt sectors as diverse as defense, medicine, and manufacturing. At the heart of ReSpo.Vision’s offering is a proprietary computer vision system that captures over 50 body keypoints in real-time, with centimeter-level accuracy — using only footage from a single camera. This makes it more cost-effective and scalable than conventional solutions, which rely on GPS vests, multi-camera stadium setups, or sensor arrays.

The startup’s early success is notable. Clients already include elite football organizations such as PSG, Chelsea FC, Concacaf, and CONMEBOL. The company is also one of the very few in the world to receive FIFA system certification — the gold standard for football tech validation. The new investment will support product development in sports analytics and broadcasting, with expansion into dual-use applications like military training, surgical modeling, and industrial automation.
Investor confidence is rising, with Vinci S.A. — a portfolio company of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) — leading the round. Vinci focuses on equity investments in high-potential Polish technologies that can scale internationally. This investment aligns with BGK’s strategy to inject over EUR 900 million (PLN 4 billion) into domestic innovation and growth projects over the coming years.
“ReSpo.Vision exemplifies the kind of scalable deeptech venture we look for — one with validated market traction, global ambition, and the ability to impact sectors far beyond sport,” said Bartosz Drabikowski, CEO of Vinci.
Luiza Nowacka, Investment Manager at Vinci, led the deal and described the startup as “a rare combination of cutting-edge AI, strong business fundamentals, and a world-class team.”
The investor lineup includes some of the most respected names in tech and sport, including:
Marcin Żukowski (co-founder of Snowflake)
Jan Bednarek (Polish national footballer and Premier League defender)
Amar Shah (co-founder of autonomous driving startup Wayve)
RKKVC, ff Venture Capital, and Smartlink Partners
Jan Bednarek commented, “As a player, I know how crucial detailed, real-time data is for preparation and performance. ReSpo.Vision is making this available to clubs at every level. Better data means better football — full stop.”
Founded in Warsaw in 2020 by Paweł Osterreicher, Mateusz Szala, Wojciech Rosiński, and Łukasz Grad, the company has grown into a 20+ person team of AI and computer vision experts. Their expertise is globally ranked — several are top performers on Kaggle, a platform used to benchmark AI talent. In addition to football analytics, ReSpo.Vision’s digital twin capabilities (3D reconstructions of sports plays) have major implications for new media formats, augmented reality, and coaching simulations. The company’s story has even been featured in a Harvard Business School MBA case study on entrepreneurship outside Silicon Valley.
BGK President Mirosław Czekaj added, “Investments like this help strengthen Poland’s knowledge economy. We’re proud that Vinci can help take a Warsaw-born innovation global — and support technologies with national and international security applications.”
As AI becomes the ‘eyes’ of the machine age, ReSpo.Vision stands at the intersection of sports, data, and next-gen infrastructure — creating an entirely new category of analytics from a single camera lens.
