Sintra.ai raises €15.8M to scale its AI helpers

A Baltic-born company becomes one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI platforms for solo entrepreneurs and SMEs

Sintra.ai, a Lithuanian startup building AI-powered assistants for small businesses, has closed a €15.8 million Seed round led by Earlybird Venture Capital, with participation from Inovo.vc, Practica Capital, and an array of prominent angels from Europe and Silicon Valley. With over €12 million in annual recurring revenue just one year after launching, Sintra is proving that world-class AI products can be built far from the usual tech hubs. The platform offers a suite of digital “helpers”—lightweight AI agents that manage daily operations for small businesses, from social media and email support to admin and scheduling. These agents integrate directly with platforms like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Meta, offering a plug-and-play experience for business owners without technical skills. What sets Sintra apart is not just its interface but its infrastructure. A proprietary intelligence layer, Brain AI, enables contextual understanding and memory across all assistants. This means users don’t have to re-explain tasks or objectives each time—they work with AI teammates that grow increasingly familiar with their business needs over time.

From side project to €12M ARR

The company started as a weekend experiment in early 2023, when its founders—Chris Sidlauskas, Rokas Judickas, and Vasaris Kaveckas—noticed a gap in AI tooling for microbusinesses. Within days of launch, the product went viral. Encouraged by the surge in demand, the team rebuilt the platform from scratch and officially launched Sintra 2.0 in May 2024. Since then, growth has been non-linear. Within 57 days, the startup surpassed €920,000 in annual revenue and quickly crossed €12 million ARR—all while remaining profitable. Much of the adoption has come organically from solo founders, service providers, and micro-SMEs in North America and Europe. Sintra currently supports over 40,000 customers in more than 100 countries.

A new model for small business infrastructure

Globally, over 45 million small businesses still lack access to scalable, affordable business tools. Many rely on legacy software or cobbled-together consumer apps to run their operations. Sintra is targeting this underserved segment with a product that can be deployed in minutes and feels less like software—and more like a team. Each AI helper comes with pre-built workflows tailored to a specific function. The most popular is Soci, an agent designed to manage social media end-to-end—from content generation to publishing and analytics. Others focus on email support, booking management, invoicing, and more. A major differentiator is Sintra’s commitment to usability. The entire product runs on top of a conversational interface, allowing users to interact with their agents through chat rather than forms or dashboards. The company emphasizes three key vectors in development: shared context, seamless action, and extreme simplicity.

Why investors moved fast

Sintra’s rapid adoption and lean operating model caught the attention of top-tier investors. After initially bootstrapping the company, the founders raised their Seed round in what insiders describe as a highly competitive process. Multiple venture firms reportedly submitted term sheets within days of the company opening conversations. The €15.8 million round, led by Germany-based Earlybird Venture Capital, includes backing from Inovo.vc (Poland), Practica Capital (Lithuania), and seasoned angels such as Mantas Mikuckas (Vinted), Mati Staniszewski (ElevenLabs), and Marcin Żukowski (Snowflake). The company was advised by Cytowski & Partners on the legal side, with additional support from Goodwin and local firm Motieka & Audzevičius in Lithuania.

Built in Vilnius, designed for the world

Rather than relocating to Silicon Valley, Sintra has opted to build its global operations out of Vilnius, Lithuania. This decision underscores a broader shift in the startup landscape: world-class teams no longer need to be based in traditional tech cities to attract capital, talent, or customers. The team now consists of 10+ people, most of whom are engineers, designers, and product specialists with a background in shipping fast, elegant solutions. Their ambition is not just to build another SaaS company, but to create a new category of AI-powered infrastructure that enables one-person businesses to function at the level of teams. The capital from this round will be used to expand the engineering and product teams, deepen integrations with popular business tools, and improve Sintra’s Brain AI layer for better context-driven automation.

Sintra is now available on iOS and web, with pricing starting at approximately €36 per month. The team’s focus for the year ahead includes geographic expansion, better agent personalization, and tools to serve service-based businesses in under-digitized economies. What began as a local experiment is rapidly becoming one of the most promising AI startups in Europe—proof that from a garage in Vilnius, it’s possible to build a global product with scale, speed, and soul.
