Vestbee Syndicate Closes 2025 Investment Round in Voice AI Innovator Respeecher, Marking Fifth Syndicated Deal Since 2024

Kyiv-based voice AI leader Respeecher has secured a new round of funding through the latest Vestbee syndicate, co-led by experienced investors Paweł Maj and Marcin Laczyński. This marks Vestbee’s first syndicated deal of 2025, and its fifth since launching the syndicate platform in June 2024—a sign of growing investor appetite for deep tech across Central and Eastern Europe.

The deal attracted a diverse group of European angel investors backing Alex Serdiuk and his team at Respeecher, whose technology enables ultra-realistic speech-to-speech and text-to-speech voice transformations. The company is known globally for its ethical approach to voice cloning, and has provided services for Hollywood studios, major media companies, and international creative teams. Their clients include Lucasfilm, ElevenLabs, and other leading content creators.

Founded in Ukraine, Respeecher has become one of the region’s most celebrated AI startups, especially for its pioneering work in synthetic voice technology. The company offers a full suite of services through its AI Voice Lab, including the ability to recreate voices of historical figures, clone voices for actors, and localize content across languages and demographics. This is done while adhering to a strict ethics and consent policy, which has earned the firm accolades in media and regulatory circles.

The startup’s product portfolio includes:

  • AI Voice Lab: Custom voice AI services for filmmakers, music producers, animators, and podcasters.

  • Voice Marketplace: A self-service platform with over 100 authentic, AI-generated voices, available in multiple languages and accents.

  • API Access: Integration-ready STS (speech-to-speech) and TTS (text-to-speech) services for developers.

  • Call Center AI: Real-time AI speech modulation for support teams—altering gender, age, tone, or accent live, while preserving emotional fidelity.

  • Voice Cloning for Actors: Voice professionals can license their vocal profiles to work on their behalf—ideal for scaling talent without live recording sessions.

With increasing demand from gaming, accessibility, dubbing, and customer service sectors, AI voice synthesis has emerged as one of the most commercially promising frontiers in generative AI. Global market analysts estimate the synthetic speech market will reach €5–7 billion by 2028, with applications spanning from education to personalized entertainment.

Vestbee, one of the region’s most active startup ecosystems and deal platforms, launched its syndicate initiative in 2024 to streamline access to top CEE startup investment rounds for verified angels and emerging venture capitalists. The platform has already facilitated syndicated deals in sectors ranging from clean energy to B2B SaaS, but Respeecher stands out as one of the first deep tech and AI-native startups featured.

“We’re proud to support a visionary company like Respeecher,” said co-lead Paweł Maj, who previously backed companies like Infermedica and Vue Storefront. “The team isn’t just chasing the voice AI trend—they’re defining it.”

Fellow co-lead Marcin Laczynski, a veteran of early-stage investment in the region, added: “This deal is a great example of CEE talent building world-class technology with global scale and ethical foundations.”

The funds raised will be used to expand Respeecher’s API capabilities, strengthen its marketplace infrastructure, and grow the team to meet increasing demand from enterprise customers and creators alike. The company will also further its work in real-time voice modulation for live broadcasts and customer interactions—a field expected to grow significantly in coming years.

With this investment, Respeecher joins the ranks of CEE’s most promising AI scaleups, and reinforces the region’s growing reputation as a hotbed for applied artificial intelligence innovation.
