The app analyzes symptoms shared by pet owners in natural language and suggests possible conditions, using a proprietary AI engine that merges neural networks with symbolic reasoning. This hybrid approach allows for both conversational fluidity and clinical accuracy, providing safe and repeatable recommendations.
VetApp is already in use by veterinary clinics via a dedicated platform that assists in generating medical documentation and accelerating diagnostics. Nearly 20% of visits analyzed through VetApp were deemed avoidable, offering value to both pet owners and insurers. The app is seeing strong uptake in cases requiring rapid decision-making — particularly during weekends, nights, and travel — and offers both chat and video consultations, with chat being the preferred option.
The company plans a funding round in 2025 to enhance its technology, expand promotional efforts, and enter international markets. Expansion will begin in DACH and the UK, where demand for pet-tech is high. VetApp’s business model includes B2B partnerships with insurers and pet product brands, offering tailored AI tools for customer engagement and risk management.
