On 4-5 April 2018 at The Sheraton Warsaw Hotel, the EuroPOWER Energy Conference – the most important meeting on the development of the energy sector in Poland – took place. The event is an opportunity to talk about the newest challenges and problems regarding the branch. The event was attended by key representatives of energy companies, public administration, regulators and representatives of the science world. The conference was opened by the Guest of Honour – Krzysztof Tchórzewski, Minister of Energy. During his presentation, he touched on matters connected with the Energy Market, Winter Packet and the building of nuclear power plants in Poland. The XXVII edition of EuroPOWER was attended by nearly 600 participants across both days.
The topics of the first day of the conference were focused on the Energy and industrial politics of the European Union, the Winter Packet, ecological aspects, EU support systems and Energy security. During the final panel, speakers discussed the very important topic of electromobility development and the effective conditions and dynamic development connected with it.
The second day didn’t lack solutions of modern technology in energy. Speakers spoke about the cooperation that takes place between companies and start-ups and using IoT, R&D, data analytics and blockchain in the energy industry. They also discussed cogeneration in Poland, digitization in energy, the power market or international gas cooperation.

At the end of the first day of the conference, the Grand Gala – Leaders of the Energy and Manufacturing World took place, during which awards were awarded in the “Leaders of the Energy World” competition.
