📅 Formy Podstawowe – Inclusive Exhibition Tour and Workshop
📍 Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej, Marszałkowska 103, 00-110 Warsaw, Poland
🗓 Date: June 14th | 🕗 Time: 10:00 am | 💸 Ticket: 1 PLN | [PL]
Why attend? “Formy podstawowe” (Basic Forms) is a recurring educational and artistic initiative by the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (MSN) and the EFC Foundation. In this innovative program, artists are invited to create instructional and participatory works—ranging from scores and games to conceptual objects—that serve as creative tools for children and educators across Poland.
The current exhibition features a curated selection of these artist-generated instructions alongside the interpretations and artworks created by primary school students from 14 schools. During the event, participants will explore the creative process behind the project and actively engage in collaborative artistic activities.
Accessibility First: The event is part of the Sztuka w całym spektrum (Art in the Full Spectrum) series, designed to ensure a welcoming and inclusive experience, particularly for neurodiverse audiences. Organizers have thoughtfully designed the tour to include:
Early start before the museum opens to the public
Clear explanation of tour plan and schedule
Small group format (max 15 participants)
Quiet zones—no loud sounds or intense lighting during the tour
Optional noise-canceling headphones
Use of tour guide system with microphone and receivers for clarity
Who’s leading the session?
The workshop will be guided by Marcin Matuszewski, an experienced cultural educator, accessibility advocate, and mindfulness ambassador in the cultural and natural world. Marcin is also a certified Warsaw city guide and community gardener, bringing a unique blend of sensitivity and experiential insight to the session.
How to Join: Participation costs only 1 PLN. Registration is required and can be made via: muzeumdostepne@artmuseum.pl and +48 577 006 290
