Running from February 21 to October 5, 2025, the exhibition features over 150 artworks displayed across four thematic sections, each offering a unique perspective on modern and contemporary art from the 1950s to today.
Exhibition Highlights:
“Banner: Commitment, Realism, and Political Art” — explores art’s engagement with politics and activism across different countries and ideologies. Curated by Sebastian Cichocki.
“Plastics: Bodies, Commodities, Fetishes from the Cold War to the Present” — investigates consumerism, media, and the boom of synthetic materials. Curated by Tomasz Fudala and Natalia Sielewicz.
“Reversed World: Art, Spirituality, and Future Coexistence” — focuses on spiritual and indigenous traditions, presenting visions of future communities. Curated by Magda Lipska and Szymon Maliborski.
“Real Abstractions: The Autonomy of Art in the Face of Modernity’s Catastrophes” — reflects on art’s independence and the crisis of modernity. Curated by Łukasz Ronduda.
The exhibition encourages visitors to craft their own exploration paths and rethink the dynamic, evolving canon of contemporary art.
