Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Zielona Góra, Sportano operates one of Europe’s most rapidly growing sports e-commerce platforms. The company offers an extensive selection of branded sports products, positioning itself as a major player in the industry. Its online store features over one million SKUs from approximately 900 brands across more than 60 sports disciplines.

Sportano is continuously expanding its operational capabilities. Recent developments include increasing warehouse capacity and plans to boost the number of autonomous robots in its logistics center by the end of 2025, aiming to enhance order processing speed and efficiency. Additionally, Sportano’s founder announced the upcoming launch of a new mobile sales application scheduled for release in April 2025.

bValue Fund, known for supporting technology and digitalization projects across Central and Eastern Europe, leads this latest investment round. With this contribution, the fund has now invested a total of €14.2 million in Sportano, securing a significant minority stake in the company.

Earlier in February 2025, bValue also invested €4.7 million in Solidstudio, a Polish e-mobility startup. The fund plans to expand its portfolio further by investing in additional companies by the end of the year, utilizing between 60% to 70% of its remaining capital.

With this new capital injection, Sportano aims to strengthen its market position and serve as a leading gateway for international sports brands seeking to enter the Central and Eastern European markets.
