Europe’s fastest-growing companies

Polish solar firm Menlo Electric leads FT1000: Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2025 ranking with 830.8% CAGR

The Financial Times and Statista have published the 2025 edition of the FT1000: Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies list, highlighting exceptional revenue growth during the economically turbulent period between 2020 and 2023. The annual ranking celebrates businesses that have defied market headwinds and achieved exponential growth across the continent.

This year’s list is led by Menlo Electric, a Warsaw-based supplier of photovoltaic panels and inverters, which recorded a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 830.8%, placing Poland in the continental spotlight. The second spot went to Allica, a UK-based banking platform for SMEs, with a 652% CAGR, while Almedia from Germany, specializing in mobile advertising and marketing, came in third with 473.6%.

Together, companies from Italy, Germany, France, and the UK represent over 75% of the list. Meanwhile, Poland’s continued ascent in innovation and clean energy was reflected not only in Menlo Electric’s victory but in broader participation across sectors.

The IT and software sector dominated the ranking, contributing about 20% of the companies. When combined with energy, utilities, construction, marketing, fintech, and financial services, these sectors made up nearly half of the list — indicating strong investor and consumer demand in digitization and sustainable infrastructure.

To qualify for the FT1000, companies had to report revenue of at least €100,000 in 2020 and €1.5 million in 2023, with organic growth as the primary driver. The 2025 edition accepted companies from across 34 European countries. The minimum average CAGR required for inclusion this year was 34.8%.

The full report went live on March 27, offering a detailed breakdown by country, sector, and key business trends shaping the post-pandemic economy.

Applications for the 2026 FT1000 edition open in September 2025, offering another chance for high-growth companies to gain pan-European recognition.
